About the Design Team
We're a team of over 30 design experts across Product Design, Service Design, Design Ops, User Research, and Brand Design. We value learning from each other through regular design critiques, workshops, and collaborative projects - making it an ideal environment for a junior designer to grow and develop their skills.
What will be your role?
As a Junior Product Designer at PayFit, you'll join the Payroll Experience Tribe in a role that combines product design and design system work. Here's what you'll do:
1. Product Design in Payroll Experience Tribe
- Own the user experience for your assigned scope, with guidance from the Design Director
- Practice the design process: translate research insights into user journeys and pixel-perfect mockups
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers in Triforce mode
- Contribute to feature research and make data-informed decisions
- Identify and propose UX/UI improvements
- Participate actively in design team and tribe rituals
2. Design System Contribution
- Help shape our Design System by creating, suggesting and maintaining components and patterns
- Ensure consistency across our product by applying the design system in your experiences
- Contribute to elevate our design system documentation, process and adoption
Your Growth Journey
- Direct mentorship from the Design Director
- Regular feedback sessions with senior designers
- Access to our design community's knowledge-sharing sessions
- Hands-on experience with both product design and design systems
This role is perfect for you if:
- You're a student in digital design (product design, UX, interaction design, etc.)
- You have an up-to-date portfolio showcasing UX/UI work
- You approach design with a user-first mindset
- You're proficient in Figma
- You enjoy end-to-end project work, from discovery to implementation
- You have strong attention to detail
- You're a great communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
- You're comfortable with English as a working language
- You're at ease with remote work and video conferencing

2. Presenting one of your projects to Malija, Design Director (45’)
3. Last interview with one of the members of the team (20’)
